B&W and Color Assignment

Today and yesterday, I did an assignment where you needed to take 2-3 photos in black and white, and in color. You had the opportunity to take photos of anything you wanted. As you see above, I took three pictures in black and white, and three pictures in color. I choose to do those three photos in color as they give out more emotions, color, and feelings to the viewer of the photos. The programs and apps I used were my iPhone 11 which I used as my camera, the mail app on my phone to transfer the photos to my computer, I used my outlook program on my computer to receive and save the pictures. To edit and export the photos I used the photo editing software Gimp as well another software called “paint” to fix any mistakes to my photos and to share my photos I used my online blog on google. For this project, I worked alone as it was an independent project, my responsibilities for this project were to take photos of things you like, were fascinated by, or anything. Then I had to send the photos to my computer to edit, scale, and export to my blog so my viewers can see my work. Some challenges I had were my photos coming out blurry or sideways on my blog, so what I did was use the windows app paint, this app allowed me to fix any problems with my photos like them coming out sideways or blurry. The process of taking the photos was the easiest and was the most successful process out of the other ones, as I had the least number of challenges and finished this project quite easily. The final assignment is successful because I put lots of effort into editing and getting the best picture possible, I took multiple photos and had to choose which photo I thought was best. I spent a lot of time on this assignment and I feel like it was successful as I got to learn more about photography and become a better photographer. If I could do the assignment again, I would go to more locations and more places to take more photos. If I continued to work on my project, I would add more photos and travel to different places to find the best photos.
