Comics and Me assignment

 

The past 3 days I've been working on this image manipulation piece, this was my first time doing something like this. my task was I needed to combine at least 3 images to create a new one, with me interacting with a character from comics. then I needed to adjust and change the photos in gimp. Save and upload to my blog. the equipment I used for this assignment was my computer and the gimp software. I worked alone on this assignment. A challenge I had with this assignment is I erased the background of one image and then when I tried to move it to combine it with the other images its background was still there. so to solve the problem I had to add an alpha channel to the image so it could erase the background properly. The most successful part of the project was editing the photos part, I didn't have any challenges with this process. the final assignment was successful because I felt like I did my best and even though I had some challenges I got passed them. if I could do the assignment again I would combine more pictures. if I continued this project I would make it longer and add more info.
