Digital illustrator Career

 The Career of a digital illustrator is to create original pieces of artwork for print and digital publications. digital illustrators create original pieces of artwork for print and digital publications and are well-versed in the best design software to create materials from logos to book covers and more. the skills a person working in this career have or need is creative and imaginative thinking with an eye for color, balance, and layout. be able to create a drawing that expresses an idea or concept. Excellent at drawing, sketching, and painting skills. Solid photography skills. Familiar with IT and design software. And are great negotiators. The person in this position works independently, usually from a studio or out of their own home. 

Most digital illustrators work as freelancers, the wage for a digital illustrator runs between $32,000 USD for a junior position to upwards of USD $77,000 for a senior position. the level of education needed for this career is at least an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Illustration, though it is possible to qualify for some entry-level positions with only a high school diploma and exceptional drawing skills. Yorkville University, Toronto Film School, Academy of Art University, Spring Arbor University, and Ryerson University are Universities and schools that offer digital Illustration programs. Some of the Program names are Bachelor of Creative Arts and Digital art program. Some of the course you will take for the first-year is Interactive digital Media, Programming for Digital Media, Physical Computing, Media Signal Processing, Publishing in Digital Media, 3D Computer Graphics, New Media Forms, and Introduction to Virtual Reality.

 

Digital Illustrators usually work for Studios, they work freelance. some company names are GraphicMama, Design Garden, DKNG, and Mojo Digital Studio just to name a few. I don't think i would be interested in this career as I would much rather be in a Career that involves photography, for example taking pictures of sunsets or animals. Or even recording for people and becoming a photographer. No, I do not have any other questions about this career

Today I had to research a career in Media Arts, I choose to research the career of digital Illustration. The equipment I used was my computer to research, google docs to write my notes down, and google to research digital illustration. the biggest challenge had with this project was the researching part as this process took the longest out of all the other ones. The only way I solved this challenge was to just keep researching. the most successful process was the editing process of my paragraph. I think the final assignment is not successful as if found it hard to find valuable and real information on my career. if I did this assignment again I would pick a more known career. If I continued to work on this Assignment I would make it longer and find and add more information
