Final Culminative assignment PT 1

 

today I created one of my final art pieces for this media arts course, I had to create a poster, essay, or video of what I stand for which is Equality, I choose to do a poster. The software and equipment I used were Gimp to create the poster, my laptop to edit the poster, and google to research and find photos of equality. The biggest challenge I had with this assignment was the creation of the poster, I had a lot of obstacles. For example, trying to put borders around my text boxes to make my poster look more organized or try to fill in my text boxes with color. I got through these challenges by asking my teacher for help and she showed me what to do with those problems. I think the most successful process of this project was the research and finding pictures of equality. I didn't have much trouble with this part of the assignment. I think the final assignment is successful as I think I provided a lot of information on equality and showed pictures that convey my point of equality. If I did this assignment again I would also do a video or essay with the poster as it would be more diverse and show more about equality. If I were to continue on this project I would make my poster bigger and add more pictures.
